Dr. Jose M. Oclarit, a Professor of Biochemistry, a National Scientist of the Philippines and the Director of Research at SWU–Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Inc. has been invited to speak and lecture at DEVUNOORI HOSPITALS in Hyderabad City, Telangana State, India from June 14-23, 2016 on the occasion of its Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The series of lectures to hospital doctors are parts of the Continuing Medical Education Program and the Jubilee Celebrations. Dr. Oclarit will lecture on the following topics: (1) Nitric Oxide as a unique bioactive signaling messenger in physiology and pathophysiology; (2) The biochemistry and physiology of Vitamin C: old concept made new; (3) The role of glutathione in healing and disease intervention; and (4) tumor markers in hepto cellular and ovarian cancers.
